Clement ‘Jimmy’ Lawrence has left his role as managing director of J Wray & Nephew to become chairman of the board, as of February 24, according to a news release from the company.
The new managing director of JWN Jamaica and the Caribbean is Jean-Philippe Beyer.
Lawrence helped to smoothly transition JWN after it was acquired by Campari.
Beyer was previously managing director of Campari Mexico. Beyer is expected to bring to Jamaica, not only his extensive knowledge of Gruppo Campari’s portfolio, strategies, and processes, but also some 10 years of experience working in the Caribbean, according to a JWN news release.
