Digicel Jamaica has seen a greater than 50 per cent rise in ICT revenues in the financial year just ended, with ICT now making up more than 10 per cent of the company’s revenue base, according to its top executive.
“We see this continuing to increase with the target to get ICT to 25 per cent of total revenues over the next year,” CEO Barry O’Brien said Wednesday.
Digicel’s core business is mobile phone service, but ICT will be the company’s “major area going forward,” he said in an address to the Jamaica Employers’ Federation latest CEO Breakfast Forum.
