CIBC Liguanea, Mandeville, Montego Bay and New Kingston branches are coaching students of Wolmer’s High School for Girls, May Day High, Cornwall College and Covenant of Mercy ‘Alpha’ Academy respectively, in the practical skills needed to compete in the global economy.
Over a six-month period, each school in the JACE programme will start a company after developing a product and written a business plan. Volunteers from the respective CIBC branches will guide the students as they work in their companies to conduct several business functions such as raising capital by selling shares, market and selling products, writing financial reports and recruiting staff.
